Event Highlights
The Latino Corporate Directors Education Foundation (LCDEF) proudly hosted BRI participants, faculty, regional members, and corporate partners at the 2025 BoardReady Institute (BRI) in Boston.
Key sessions included:
- Fireside Chats: Featured conversations with LCDA leaders Brian Gonzalez, Former Executive Director - Government Partnerships and Initiatives, Intel Corporation and Joseph Alvarado, Director, PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.; Arcosa Inc.; Kennametal Inc.; Trinseo S.A. on strategic governance in the age of AI and navigating board leadership across sectors.
- Corporate Governance 101: Provided an overview of board responsibilities, fiduciary duties, and effective oversight practices.
- Mock Board Meeting: Simulated boardroom experience that tested participants' decision-making and strategic thinking.
- Coaching Circles: Small-group sessions led by experienced directors offering personalized guidance and peer learning.
- Board-Ready Toolkit: Offered practical strategies to develop a high-impact board resume, bio, and LinkedIn profile.
